Trade unions are inviting everyone to Freedom Square on 1 May at 14:00 for a free rally to celebrate Workers' Day. The headliners of the day will be Genka, Paul Oja and a live band.
The day will be chaired by Ilja Golomb, and workers will be welcomed by trade union leaders, the new Minister of Social Affairs Tanel Kiik and MEPs Ivari Padar and Yana Toom. The theme of the event is: "Why negotiate? - Let's agree", with which the trade unions want to draw attention to the need for negotiation and agreement in industrial relations.
