PRINCIPLES OF TRAINING OF THE CENTRAL CONFEDERATION OF TRADE UNIONS

The Estonian Trade Union Confederation (EAKL) organizes training courses of various lengths, from two hours to several days. The training is counted in academic hours, one hour lasts 45 minutes. The venue is the EAKL Conference Center (Laulupeo 24, Tallinn), which has all the technical equipment necessary for conducting the training.

Registering for and participating in the training
To participate in the EAKL training, a person must be a member of a trade union belonging to the Estonian Trade Union Confederation. Confirmation of registration for the training will be sent to the participant by e-mail. Registration can be done either by e-mail: eakl@eakl.ee or by phone: 5565 6411, 641 2800.

EAKL reserves the right to make changes to the curriculum. If the training is canceled, all registered participants will be notified immediately.

Cancellations must be notified to EAKL as soon as possible. If the participant cancels the training less than 48 hours before the start of the training or during the training, the participation fee will not be refunded.

If the EAKL branch pays for a person participating in the training, an invoice with the payment deadline and details will be sent directly to the branch. The invoice will be sent simultaneously with the confirmation of registration for the training. VAT is not added to the tuition fee.

Completion and certification of training
Upon request, the participant will be issued a document certifying completion of the EAKL training, which is: a diploma if the participant has achieved the learning outcomes of the training, or a certificate if the duration of the training was less than six hours or the learning outcomes were not assessed.

Documents proving completion of training are retained and issued for up to three years from the date of training.

Dispute resolution
To challenge a decision related to the organization of studies, a written appeal must be submitted to EAKL. The appeal will be reviewed and the student will be notified of the decision within five working days.

If the participant disagrees with the decision, he or she has the right to appeal to court.
