The 600th plenary session of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) will take place in Brussels this week, 21-23 October, to renew the composition of the Committee for the next five years. The Plenary will elect a new President and discuss the future of Europe, including the EU's core values and the rights of people with disabilities.
Estonia has seven seats in the EESC and workers will be represented by Kaia Vask, President of the Estonian Trade Union Confederation. The EESC brings together representatives of employers, workers and civil society, advising European policymakers for a socially just and sustainable Europe.
