The Estonian Trade Union Confederation (EAKL) invites applications for the post of Political Secretary. <\/p>\n

Candidate requirements:<\/strong>
- good orientation in the Estonian and EU political system;
- a law degree, including a good knowledge of labour and social law;
- very good written and spoken Estonian and English, good Russian;
- ability to work independently and take initiative;
- good communication skills.<\/p>\n

You will benefit from:<\/strong>
- experience in advocacy;
- Knowledge of the Estonian and European political system;
- the ability to work both individually and as part of a team.<\/p>\n

Job duties:<\/strong>
- Supporting the Chair of EAKL in building and maintaining contacts and presenting EAKL's views to political parties, ministries and partner organisations;
- Estonian and EU legislative monitoring;
- Coordination of EAKL policy initiatives;
- analysis of draft legislation in the field of social policy and health at work.<\/p>\n
